Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Pay: $33.00 – $38.00 per hour
Full-Time | 40+ Hours/Week | Company Vehicle Provided

• Full-time position (40+ hours/week)
• Some weekends and on-call rotation required
• Overtime opportunities available

• Service area:
  Commercial customers throughout the region

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including:
  • Rooftop Units (RTUs)
  • Packaged systems
  • Split systems
  • Heat pumps
  • Gas/electric equipment
  • Ductless mini-splits
  • VRF/VRV systems
• Perform preventative maintenance, seasonal inspections, and detailed system evaluations
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, controls, and airflow issues
• Perform diagnostics on inverter-driven and multi-zone systems
• Repair and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment, including:
  • Walk-in coolers and freezers
  • Reach-in units
  • Ice machines
  • Prep tables
  • Other light commercial refrigeration equipment
• Identify system deficiencies and communicate repair recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams
• Complete service documentation, job notes, and time tracking accurately and efficiently
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide professional solutions
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and local codes
• Represent Honest Air professionally on every call

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Strong troubleshooting skills in:
  • Electrical systems
  • Mechanical components
  • Refrigeration systems
  • HVAC controls
• Experience with commercial HVAC equipment and diagnostics
• Experience with VRF/VRV and ductless systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
• Own basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 40–75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments
• Dependable, self-motivated, and a strong team player

• Journeyman or Master HVAC License
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Sales or lead-generation experience
