At Honest Air, we believe maintenance is the foundation of great service. Our Maintenance Technicians play a key role in keeping our customers comfortable, identifying system concerns early, and providing an exceptional experience in every home.
- Full-time position (40+ hours/week)
- Some weekends and seasonal overtime opportunities
- Company vehicle provided
- Local service area
- Perform residential HVAC preventative maintenance visits and seasonal tune-ups
- Inspect heating and cooling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Perform system checks on:
- Furnaces
- Air conditioners
- Heat pumps
- Ductless mini-splits
- Indoor air quality equipment
- Complete maintenance tasks including:
- Filter changes
- Coil inspections and cleaning
- Electrical component checks
- Safety inspections
- Refrigerant checks
- Basic system diagnostics
- Identify potential equipment issues and communicate findings clearly to homeowners
- Educate customers on system operation, maintenance needs, and recommended improvements
- Assist Service Technicians by providing accurate system information and documentation
- Complete service notes, checklists, and invoices accurately and timely
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and local codes
- Represent Honest Air professionally on every customer visit
- 1+ years of HVAC experience preferred (maintenance, install, or service experience)
- Basic understanding of residential HVAC systems
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
- Dependable, motivated, and a strong team player
- EPA Certification
- HVAC Trade School education
- Previous maintenance agreement experience
- Manufacturer training or certifications
- Desire to advance into a Service Technician role
