Carroll's Fuel Technicians install, maintain and repair fuel dispensers, submersible fuel pumps, service station site controllers, credit card readers, cash register consoles specifically Gilbarco Passport, tank & line monitoring equipment.

The primary focus is on service station electronics, computers, and fuel dispensing systems. Duties include equal portions of electronics, plumbing and mechanical work. Work rotation will include after-hours on-call duty in assisting service techs. A significant portion of the work is done outdoors in all weather conditions.

Minimum Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

:

• High school diploma, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid Maryland Class C Driver's License
• Minimum 4-5 years experience of information technology of C-store and Gas Stations
• Ability to effectively verbally communicate with co-workers.
• Ability to understand, comprehend and follow basic and complex directions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Working knowledge of store POS equipment and connectivity.

Working Conditions:

• Frequent exposure to unpleasant working conditions (dust, dirt, noise etc.) at off-site locations.
• Frequently enters confined work areas
