Service Technician (Oil Department)
We seek a Service Technician to install, service, and maintain our advanced equipment for clients throughout the food service industry. You will handle initial installations for new customers, conduct customer training, troubleshoot, and carry out routine maintenance for existing clients.
Compensation: $30.00 per hour plus shift differential, overtime, and a quarterly bonus up to $5,200 per year. Benefits include medical (single coverage or employer HSA contribution for family coverage), dental, vision, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, a 401(k) plan with up to 4.5% match, paid time off, paid holidays, a $3,000 employee referral bonus, and a $200 new customer referral bonus.
ShiftAvailable shift(s): 4/10 schedule (Sunday – Wednesday) starting at 6:00AM EST. Night installation work may be required depending on customer demand; scheduling will vary.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain products safely, efficiently, and accurately.
- Meet operational goals and timelines, including service labor per hour, first‑time right, and 5S standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, DOT, OSHA, HACCP, and other local or federal regulations.
- Maintain proper parts and supply levels in service vehicles and complete required paperwork.
- Communicate with customers to confirm product performance and provide training and coaching.
- Use iPhone apps for parts, customer notes, and clocking in/out.
- Follow safety procedures and submit incident reports as needed.
- Age 21 or older with a valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Operational experience with DOT‑regulated vehicle and subject to pre‑employment drug testing.
- Capacity to perform basic mechanical and electrical duties.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs, bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach.
- Strong customer focus and problem‑solving skills.
- Team‑player attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to climb a ladder up to 20ft.
- Vocational training or relevant certification.
