Service Technician

Overview

We are a leading home services provider looking for highly skilled Home Service Technicians to provide expert service for heating systems and related equipment. This role is the public face of the company, requiring strong technical and customer service skills. Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with paid overtime.

• Make service calls to customer homes and provide troubleshooting and repair service for a variety of equipment, especially heating systems.
• Act as the main point of contact between the company and customers, maintaining a professional and friendly image.
• Assess customers’ equipment and service needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair residential AC equipment, heating, and other equipment.
• Identify revenue‑generating opportunities, make recommendations to customers, and close sales when appropriate.
• Perform efficiency tests on all combustion‑related installations.
• Prepare accurate daily paperwork.
• Communicate with the dispatcher and service departments.
• Utilize all applicable safety equipment and PPE.
• Maintain an organized van and account for assigned tools and parts inventory.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience servicing residential air conditioning and heating equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet the company’s motor vehicle policy.
• Willingness to expand technical and repair knowledge, obtain new licenses, and pursue professional growth.
• Exceptional technical skills and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of performance safely.
