Perform skilled journeyman pipe fitting tasks for construction, repair, maintenance, overhaul, and conversion of marine craft and vessels;
Set up system routes, install and adjust piping components including risers, expansion joints, pumps, gauges, and regulators;
Replace sections of piping and repair steam traps and relief valves; sweat and connect pipes using unions and flanges;
Cut, thread, and assemble piping; test systems for leaks, flow, and pressure to ensure proper operation;
Install and service steam heating, water, sanitary, drainage, and low-pressure air piping according to codes and specifications
