HVAC Service Manager

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Service Manager role based in the Baltimore, MD Area.
• The HVAC Service Manager oversees day-to-day service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and supervising field technicians for commercial HVAC maintenance, repairs, and emergency calls.
• The role includes reviewing work orders, ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes, monitoring service quality, and resolving customer concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• The HVAC Service Manager collaborates with project and construction teams, supports energy-efficient and building automation initiatives, and helps optimize service contracts and preventive maintenance programs.
• Additional responsibilities include team coaching, performance feedback, documentation of service activities, and contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Oversee scheduling, dispatching, and completion of service calls.
• Provide technical guidance for complex service issues.
• Monitor performance, conduct training, and evaluate staff.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Track revenue, productivity, and department efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Manager or in a supervisory role.
• Strong HVAC technical knowledge.
• Journeyman or Master HVAC License preferred.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with service management software.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
• Requires strong leadership to manage service technicians, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive operational efficiency.
• The ideal candidate is a licensed HVAC professional with excellent communication and management skills.
