We're looking for an experienced and dependable Fleet Mechanic to help maintain and repair our growing fleet of vehicles while minimizing downtime and ensuring peak performance.
Your Role as a Fleet MechanicIf you take pride in diagnosing mechanical issues, performing quality repairs, and keeping vehicles operating efficiently, this is an excellent opportunity to put your skills to work in a fast-paced fleet environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on fleet vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Repair and replace components including brakes, suspension systems, steering components, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain detailed maintenance records
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle problems efficiently
- Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritize repairs and meet fleet service requirements
- Support efforts to minimize vehicle downtime through proactive maintenance and timely repairs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Previous experience as a Fleet Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technician preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Experience working on fleet vehicles in a transportation, commercial, or automotive environment is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Dependable, motivated, and safety-focused
- Valid driver's license required
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
