Electrical Maintenance Technician
TOPS Staffing is partnering with a major industrial terminal operation in Baltimore to hire experienced Electrical Maintenance Technicians. This facility operates 24/7 and utilizes large-scale conveyor systems, power distribution equipment, automated controls, and heavy industrial machinery that move bulk materials from rail to vessel.

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Install and repair electrical components on conveyors, motors, and material handling equipment
- Build and repair electrical control panels
- Bend conduit and install wiring for 220V and 480V systems
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems
- Read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Maintain AC/DC motors, drives, sensors, and control systems
- Support equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting 220V/480V electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience with PLCs and ladder logic troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in industrial environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
- Experience in bulk material handling, terminals, mining, power generation, steel, cement, or heavy manufacturing environments preferred
- Experience with conveyors, motors, drives, and power distribution systems preferred
- Preventative maintenance experience preferred
