POSITION OVERVIEW
Dvorak, LLC is looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our growing field team. If you have mechanical aptitude, a genuine interest in the trade, and want to learn from experienced electricians while building a long-term career, we want to hear from you!
The Apprentice Electrician supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electrician. This role provides hands‑on learning and development opportunities to gain technical knowledge and practical experience while contributing to project success.
What You'll Do
- Work under the supervision of a Master or Journeyman Electrician to complete assigned tasks
- Assist with identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and performing electrical work on job sites
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Measure, cut, bend, and install wire and conduit; thread conduit ends and connect couplings
- Inspect electrical units for loose connections or insulation issues and make repairs
- Drill holes, pull/push wiring, strip insulation, and assist with soldering connections
- Install copper-clad ground rods and ensure grounding meets safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with material staging and cleanup
- Update work logs and assist with administrative project duties as directed
- Collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project deadlines
- Adhere to all safety policies, OSHA/state regulations, and participate in toolbox talks and safety training
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Reliable transportation
- Mechanical aptitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and willingness to learn
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 75 lbs)
- Prior construction or electrical experience is a plus
License/Certification
- Enrollment in a state‑approved apprenticeship program (Required)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $18.00 - $28.50 per hour (based upon completed apprenticeship hours)
Work Location: In person, field-based; may involve exposure to weather, heights, confined spaces, and loud noise. PPE required on all job sites.
