Fuel Technicians install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, submersible fuel pumps, service station site controllers, credit card readers, cash register consoles (specifically Gilbarco Passport), and tank & line monitoring equipment.
The primary focus is on service station electronics, computers, and fuel dispensing systems. Duties include electronics, plumbing, and mechanical work. Work rotation will include after-hours on-call duty to assist service techs. A significant portion of work is outdoors in all weather conditions.

- High school diploma or GED required
- Gilbarco experience and Wayne Certification are a plus; willingness to obtain certifications on Gilbarco Dispensers and Passport POS is necessary
- Previous experience in fuel maintenance or related trade school preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience required
- Electronic and computer skills preferred
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and on-call shifts
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and other unpleasant conditions at off-site locations
- Entering confined spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics
- Frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and pulling/pushing items over 50 lbs
