Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will install, inspect, and repair automated cube storage systems, including robots, aluminum grids, workstation ports, and bin-charging stations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electromechanical failures, and utilize software tools to maximize warehouse uptime.
Responsibilities- Service and test Auto Store robots, charging stations, conveyor interfaces, and pick-and-pass ports.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues during active shifts.
- Run routine checks, swap worn parts, and log service updates into a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Follow strict warehouse safety protocols and manage spare parts stock levels.
- 7+ years of technical experience working with industrial automation, material handling gear, or robotics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude paired with basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including sensors, drives, and PLC controls.
- Comfortable standing, walking long hours, lifting heavy components (up to 50+ lbs), and working at heights on mezzanines or grids.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma plus a technical/associate degree in mechatronics, maintenance mechanics, or related fields is preferred.

Work EnvironmentWork in a clean, brand new Auto Store facility that is one of the smaller but well-sized locations. The position operates Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, providing a stable and structured work schedule.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
