Responsibilities- Execute precise installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, ensuring seamless integration with existing ductwork and infrastructure.
- Perform comprehensive system startups and diagnostic testing to guarantee peak operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues during the installation process to prevent future performance degradation.
- Provide clear, professional guidance to homeowners regarding system operation, thermostat programming, and routine maintenance best practices.
- Document installation details and material usage accurately to maintain high standards of project accountability.
- Coordinate with project leads to ensure all installations meet strict quality benchmarks and are completed within established timelines.
- Uphold rigorous safety standards and local building codes to protect both the technician and the end-user.
- Proven professional experience in HVAC system installation and mechanical assembly.
- Valid HVAC certification and appropriate state-level licensure.
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC tools, refrigerant handling, and electrical circuitry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on precision and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
- Completion of a formal HVAC technical training program or trade school.
- Experience with high-efficiency equipment, heat pumps, or smart home integration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced field environment.
