Maintenance Mechanic

A prominent food manufacturing facility is looking for skilled Maintenance Mechanics and Electro-Mechanical Technicians to ensure the peak performance and reliability of their production lines. Your primary focus will be the upkeep and repair of diverse mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, ensuring that all machinery operates safely and efficiently to keep production schedules on track.

• Identify, repair, install, and service various types of industrial production machinery.
• Resolve technical challenges involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Help maintain operational continuity by servicing packaging lines, conveyors, carton fillers, blow molders, and related rotary equipment.
• Execute proactive maintenance strategies to minimize unexpected equipment failures and maximize uptime.
• Provide rapid response support to address production interruptions and mechanical failures.
• Support the team by facilitating equipment changeovers and necessary mechanical adjustments.
• Conduct routine assessments to detect and resolve potential equipment issues before they impact production.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance tasks, repairs, parts inventory, and downtime events.
• Promote a secure workplace by strictly adhering to all established safety protocols.
• Ensure all maintenance activities uphold rigorous GMP and SQF quality standards.

• Proven background as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing issues within pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Prior experience working within a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with production machinery such as blow molding, packaging systems, or conveyors is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex electrical and mechanical schematics or documentation.
• Strong technical aptitude for performing effective repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Must possess a personal set of professional tools.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage equipment failures under pressure.
• Dedication to maintaining compliance with all safety, SQF, and GMP regulations.
