Summary: This position provides strength‑based family support services in cooperation with families of children prenatal to 3 years old. The Family Support Specialist (FSA) conducts weekly in‑home visits, partners with families to identify needs, develops plans of action, and mobilizes resources that build family effectiveness. FSAs maintain a caseload of 15–25 families.
Responsibilities- Complete family intake and assessment for each family assigned within 30 days.
- Develop a family goal plan within 30 days for each family assigned.
- Review and update goal plans at least every 30 days to measure progress and adjust goals.
- Model effective parenting and nurturing skills for families.
- Provide direct teaching through curriculum that builds healthy parent‑child relationships.
- Identify and mobilize resources within and outside the family; provide linkages as needed.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet family needs.
- Complete the expected number of home visits as determined by service intensity.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date case files for each family.
- Complete all assessment, program evaluation tools and documentation within required timelines.
- Meet weekly with the Clinical Supervisor to discuss cases, problem‑solve, and plan visits.
- Submit statistical reports as required.
- Attend required staff meetings, training sessions, or conferences.
- Participate in agency work teams as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Mental Health, Nursing, or Education) preferred;
Associate Degree in Human Services or related field.
Bilingual preferred

3–5 years of experience in Human or Social Services; at least one year working with or providing services to children and families. Case management or service coordination experience preferred; willingness to work with a culturally diverse population.

Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week.
Salary: $50,000.
