Compensation RangeFinal compensation offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, internal equity, and alignment with organizational budget.

Position DutiesAssists AVP/Dean of Students representatives in providing support to students in resolving educational and personal challenges, psychological distress and crises, that may impede their academic progress and community interactions. Provide support and outreach to faculty and staff involved when students at risk are identified and support is needed. Assist students with social services needs including, but not limited to, referral to community resources and facilitating access to medical care (including coordination of hospitalizations and discharge planning), and follow up to ensure that clients are appropriately assessed, successfully referred, and compliant with treatment recommendations.
EssentialFunctions
Serving as primary resource for managing student issues related to students in distress, at-risk, and students in crisis. Collecting, organizing, and evaluating facts associated with student incidents, coordinating intervention plans, and communicating with the impacted student(s). Facilitating information flow with the CARE Team, identified students, parents/guardians, Counseling Center, Student Health Services, Disability Support Services, Thrive Center for Student Success, Academic Advising, Class Deans, faculty, and off-campus hospitals and mental health care providers.
Assist students with social services needs including, but not limited to, referral to community resources and facilitating access to medical care (including coordination of hospitalizations and discharge planning) and follow up to ensure that students are appropriately assessed, successfully referred, and compliant with treatment recommendations Establish and maintain regular contact with a network of administrative resources and related off-campus referrals in order to accurately identify, address, and follow up with students who present with a high level behavioral and/or mental health-related risk(including suicidal ideation, self-harm, depression, anxiety, eating disorders).
Develop and coordinate programs to improve the health and well-being for Loyola students. Implement programs that show effective promotion of wellness and provide measurable results. Promote wellness programming through social media communications, incentive campaigns, and other activities to generate student participation. Initiate and develop on-going liaison relationships with community health providers, services hospitals, and other resources. Develop and maintain a database of referral resources and community services in surrounding communities (including current insurance panel of providers as well as providers who will work with students at minimal cost).
Keep abreast of federal and state policy changes that will affect the scope or practice of case management. Participate in research, departmental and campus committees, programs and projects as assigned. Maintain detailed case notes in Maxient data system.
