• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for forecasting and optimizing distributed energy resource loads
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create predictive models and algorithms
• Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes while ensuring best practices in software development
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing systems

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 12+ years of proven experience in software development and architecture, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role
• 5+ years of experience with complex optimization and forecasting models, specifically in the Microsoft Azure environment
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable cloud-native applications with microservices architecture using C# and .NET Core
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in mentoring junior engineers

• Knowledge of optimization techniques and algorithms, including linear programming and statistical modeling
• Expertise in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban teams
