Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 / year

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications using C#, C, and C++.
• Software development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement aircraft instrumentation systems.
• Configure and optimize software for microprocessors and embedded systems.
• Develop and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Ethernet, RS232, RS422, and others.
• Contribute to GUI development using HTML coding.
• Ensure compliance with Information Assurance (IA) processes and standards.
• Document software designs, processes, and testing results to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools relevant to aircraft instrumentation.

• Conditions will vary but most of the work will be performed in enclosed buildings.
• Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching.
• Work will include lengthy sessions at a computer.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Three or more years of professional experience in software development, preferably in aerospace or instrumentation.

• Strong coding, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self‑motivated with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in C#, C, and C++ programming.
• Understanding of Information Assurance (IA) processes and standards.
• Familiarity with HTML coding for GUI development.
• Knowledge of software configurations and microprocessor systems.
• Exposure to communication protocols such as Ethernet, RS232, RS422, and others.
• Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, Java, or Lua is a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Current driver’s license and ability to be insured under company policy while driving company or government vehicles.
• U.S. citizenship required; must obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Top Secret security clearance prior to start date.
• All candidates must pass background screening including SSN, driver record, and criminal background investigation.
