PositionPeterson is seeking a talented Dev Ops Software Engineer.
Responsibilities and Skills- Core Kubernetes development: Building and shipping services that enhance Kubernetes' capabilities.
- Scalability and performance: Working with distributed systems and network protocols to ensure optimal performance on a large scale.
- Infrastructure as Code: Designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters using tools like Terraform and Helm.
- Cloud platform expertise: Proficient in AWS Cloud Platform with system design, application development, testing, and problem‑solving.
- Continuous Integration/Delivery: Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Monitoring and alerting: Setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- SQL skills: Strong knowledge of SQL, especially with databases like Postgre
SQL and AWS RDS. - Programming: Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or C++.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline OR four additional years’ software engineering experience.
At least 20 years’ experience as a software engineer (at least 24 years’ experience if no Bachelor’s degree).

SalarySalary range = $180,000 - $260,000 depending on experience.
