The Software Engineer (SWE) works as part of a small, agile team of full‑stack software engineers developing, testing, and maintaining a complex web application crucial to the customer mission. The SWE participates in requirements gathering and analysis then provides estimates for design, development, and testing. The SWE is responsible for developing new features, enhancing existing code, and resolving bugs using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Angular 19+.

They also recommend technology upgrades, perform upgrades to new versions of existing frameworks, migrate from one framework to another if applicable, write automated test code, and review teammates’ work for adherence to customer requirements and team standards.

• Software development on Linux environments using Java 17+ with Spring Boot.
• Strong user interface development using Angular 19+.
• Writing code to interact with relational databases such as Oracle, Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, and/or Maria
  
  DB.
• Use of software testing frameworks such as Junit and Jasmine/Jest.
• Version control using Git.
• Bug tracking using Jira.
• Software documentation using Confluence.
• Development using Eclipse, Net Beans, or similar IDEs.

All software engineers will be required to have experience as a software engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required, or four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a degree.

• Bachelor's Degree and 2-7 years of experience – Software Engineer Level 0
• Bachelor's Degree and 7-14 years of experience – Software Engineer Level 1
• Bachelor's Degree and 14-20 years of experience – Software Engineer Level 2
• Bachelor's Degree and 20 or more years of experience – Software Engineer Level 3

Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
