Your Mission

Work with a multi-talented development team and key stakeholders to develop and support the operational deployment of an entire suite of government customer tools on an existing Clear Edge prime contract. We are seeking a software engineer who will design, develop, sustain, and operationally support front‑end presentation tier services for our mission‑driven customers.

Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of an integrated development team

  • Design, develop, and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
  • Debug existing software, correct defects, and provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
  • Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces and queries
  • Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, collaborating with users or system engineers, investigating problem areas, and ensuring quality control on team products
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance
  • Design or implement complex algorithms requiring strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints
  • Oversee software development teams and ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable constraints
  • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met
  • Day in the Life:
    Work directly with clients, managers, and technical staff to understand business needs, develop technical plans, and deliver impactful solutions that solve client problems
  • Day in the Life:
    Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features, debug, and integrate into system environments
Qualifications
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • 20 years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university (or four additional years of experience on similar software projects may substitute for a bachelor’s degree)
  • Experience developing web‑based software applications using JavaScript and frameworks such as React or AngularJS
  • Experience developing software applications with object‑oriented principles using languages such as Java, C++, or C#
  • Nice to have: experience developing web‑based geo‑focused software applications using tools such as Leaflet.js
  • Experience developing applications using container and container orchestration frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Documentation experience
  • Ability to work well integrating contributions with others across a diverse team
  • Mission‑first work ethic
  • Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
