Unity Mobile Game and App Developer

We are seeking a developer responsible for building games and business apps for various target platforms based on the Unity framework. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement functionality translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging app. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are essential.

• BS in Computer Science or similar field is prefered but not required. We look for strong fundamentals in computer science from work experience or an academic degree.
• 2+ years of C#/Unity experience.
• 3+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively work with teams of engineers, designers, analysts and managers

• Implement functionality as per communicated design
• Communicate with other team members to establish effective pipeline and integrate media assets
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Software development on assigned projects
• Collaboration with other engineers and project teams
• Responsible for technical decisions and direction for assigned projects
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices

• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Excellent knowledge of Unity, including using web services
• Experience with mobile and console game development
• Experience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware
• Ability to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving standards and development technologies
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with current design and architectural patterns
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools
