In this role, you will be part of a fast-moving software engineering team supporting several UIs in a microservice ecosystem. You will develop, maintain, and enhance web applications that interact with Java microservices, working closely with tech leads to drive technical decisions and contribute to the product roadmap. You will collaborate directly with customers to resolve issues, propose new features, and ensure production applications are tested and deployed efficiently.
Engineers on this team are encouraged to participate in system design and contribute ideas that improve both functionality and user experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript/Type Script design, debugging, and problem solving.
- Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or similar.
- Experience developing RESTful web applications.
- Experience interacting with Mongo
DB or similar database technologies. - Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Full‑stack development experience, particularly with Java or other JVM‑based languages.
- Experience with Kafka.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Linux administration experience.
- Familiarity with automated build tools, continuous integration, and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Experience with AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
- 12 years of professional experience; B.S. in a technical discipline, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
