Job Description
Active security clearance at the TS/SCI polygraph level is required. As the Cloud Developer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements. You will work independently or as part of a team to design and implement user interface components supporting data-intensive analytics, real-time systems, and business applications.
You will review and test software for adherence to design requirements, resolve software issues, and apply appropriate development methodologies. You will also provide input to system design, including hardware and software trade-offs, software reuse, and the use of COTS and GOTS solutions.
The annual base salary range for this role is $190,000-$225,000 (USD). Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements.
- Design and implement user interface components for data-intensive analytics, real-time systems, and business applications.
- Review and test software for adherence to design requirements.
- Resolve software issues and apply appropriate development methodologies.
- Provide input to system design, including hardware and software trade-offs, software reuse, and use of COTS and GOTS solutions.
- Experience with developing software using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience in creating data visualizations that are easy to understand, including cascading, time-shifting, dynamic, and drill-down options.
- Experience in data modeling, including normalization of data and working with metrics.
- Experience in exploring unique and out-of-the-box visualization techniques and applying them to networks.
- Experience with creating static presentations and static web pages.
- Experience with developing and maintaining web-based server applications and implementing algorithms that interface with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgre
SQL. - Experience with leading small cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of agile team development.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 14+ years of experience with software engineering in a Linux environment, or 18+ years of experience in a Linux environment in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with mono-repo architecture and tooling.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term taskings.
