Sr. Java Developer

This role requires candidates who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This role is remote.

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Java Developer to design, build, and deliver scalable, enterprise-level applications. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who thrives in an environment that values ownership, strong ethics, and high-quality engineering practices. You will take ownership of complex initiatives, make architectural decisions, and deliver end-to-end solutions with minimal oversight.

• Design, develop, and enhance applications using Spring Core and Spring Boot
• Architect and build RESTful APIs and integrations for business-critical systems
• Lead technical design and implementation efforts with a high degree of autonomy
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS (S3, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, SNS/SQS, SSM)
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries (Oracle preferred)
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, security, and compliance standards
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable code
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Collaborate with distributed teams while owning end-to-end delivery
• Participate in the full Agile lifecycle

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 9 years of Java with Spring (Core & Boot)
• 9 years of unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
• 7 years of hands-on AWS experience (must be practical)
• Advanced SQL skills (complex queries optimization)
• Strong Docker / containerization experience
• Experience with IntelliJ, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
• Familiarity with Maven and Cucumber
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership

• Cloud security best practicesm
• Experience with scalable distributed systems
