Software Engineer - Back-End​/DevOps

Captivation Software is looking for a mid-level software engineer who will be doing back-end development and Dev Ops engineering.

• Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph; therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum Qualifications: Seven (7) years experience as an SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity;
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university; or four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and backend services deployed on AWS (e.g., ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops, frontend, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using tools like Cloud Watch, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
