CyberPoint is seeking experienced Software Engineers to support a mission‑critical program developing high‑performance software solutions for complex technical challenges.

Whether you're an experienced individual contributor (SWE-1) or a senior technical leader (SWE-2), you'll join a team of engineers who design, build, optimize, and deploy software that directly supports mission success.

These are high-priority openings with an expedited hiring process for qualified candidates.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python, C, or C++.
• Develop software across Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Build and optimize applications that process large datasets and solve complex technical problems.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve system performance.
• Develop and execute Unit, Integration, and Regression testing.
• Work within modern Dev Ops environments using technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and Bamboo.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical leadership, and mission partners throughout the software development lifecycle.

SWE-1

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
• Strong development experience in Python, C, or C++.
• Experience developing in both Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.

SWE-2

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 14 years of software engineering experience supporting complex technical programs.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, C, or C++.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving software architecture and design.

• Front-end development experience.
• Elasticsearch.
• CI/CD pipeline development.
• Containerization technologies including Docker.
• Configuration management and automation using Ansible, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Experience optimizing software for performance and resource-constrained environments.
