the community college of baltimore county is seeking a programmer analyst to join our enterprise applications team as a technical leader in enterprise software development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, implement test, and maintain enterprise applications that support students, faculty,and staff. In this role, you will lead complex software development initiatives, develop system integrations and enterprise reporting solutions, and collaborate with functional and technical partners to deliver scalable, reliable applications within the ellucianbanner erp environment.
Using sql, pl/sql, t-sql, java, java script,and html, you will help modernize business processes, enhance system performance, and build technology solutions that support data-informed decision-making across the college.
- · bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field required.
- · a minimum of 8 years of information technology experience in supporting enterprise administrative applications required.
- · must achieve a passing score on a programming assessment required covering job specific languages technologies such as java,java script, linux shell scripting, tsql, pl/sql.
- · placement at the programmer/analyst i level requires completion of at least three relevant technical certifications: two certifications designated for the programmer/analyst i level andone from the next lower level in the college’s programmer certification matrix. Higher-level or equivalent industry-recognized it certifications may be accepted when theyalign with the position’s responsibilities. The certification matrix is subject to annual updates.
