Our team is standing up USCYBERCOM's AI Enterprise capability - the central hub that mission teams turn to when they want to move an AI solution from prototype to a secure, governed, enterprise-scale service. As a Senior Cloud Engineer / Software Developer on this team, you will write the production-grade Python code and APIs, running in AWS and Azure, that power the platform's enterprise AI services, with significant, visible impact on the mission of the USCC.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Provide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping for AI-enabled tools in support of our customer.

* Design, develop, and integrate enterprise-grade, production Python code and applications in cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure).

* Develop robust and scalable APIs and microservices to support the AI Enterprise platform's model gateway, tool broker, and knowledge services.

* Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery of AI applications and services.

* Implement and maintain secure, efficient, and scalable cloud infrastructure for AI solutions.

* Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to streamline development processes and ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities.

* Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of production AI applications.

* Continuously research and implement new cloud engineering tools and practices to enhance efficiency and capabilities.

* Document architecture, processes, and configurations, and support security accreditation (RMF/ATO) of production systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with 10 years of experience, or Master's degree in a relevant technical field with 8 years of experience

* Active TS/SCI clearance w/Poly

* Advanced proficiency in Python for production-grade application development

* Demonstrated expertise in API development and integration

* Proven experience in architecting and managing CI/CD pipelines

* Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure) for software development and infrastructure management Desired

Qualifications:

* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable engineering solutions, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Exposure to AI/Machine Learning concepts and their implications for software development

* Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

* AWS or Microsoft Azure certification, and continuous learning mindset to stay abreast of cutting-edge cloud engineering and AI advancements Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
