Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with the management of all indoor and outdoor athletic facilities.
Direct responsibility for the event management of specific sports as assigned. This includes supervision of student/contractual staff, event set-up/breakdown, crowd control, and other administrative duties. This requires the coordination of, and communication related to, organizational operations meetings. Assist in the event management of other sports for which incumbent does not have direct oversight.
Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of building managers.
Serve as Parking Services liaison and coordinate parking for athletic department events.
Assist with management of various facility projects spanning both indoor and outdoor venues.
Serve as liaison with scoreboard vendor. This includes maintenance and training for operating scoreboards.
Assist with equipment purchases while ensuring appropriate procurement procedures are followed.
Assist the Assistant Director for Athletics Facilities Management with scheduling of fields and facilities.
Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience required.
Experience in a higher education, collegiate athletics environment preferred.
