Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Management Trainee (Logistics Operations) to join their client's dynamic team in Baltimore. This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for those eager to develop their careers in logistics, marine transportation, and terminal operations.
Responsibilities- Engage in day-to-day tasks related to the handling of various cargoes, assisting in stevedoring operations, mechanic shop, warehousing activities, and transfer operations between different modes of transportation.
- Participate in a comprehensive 5 to 8 years Management Trainee program designed to develop future leaders capable of driving operations and business strategies.
- Gain hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of terminal operations, logistics, and business management in a dynamic maritime environment.
- Rotate through various departments to gain comprehensive exposure to terminal operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Prior internships or experience in logistics, supply chain, or maritime operations preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical agility and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Basic knowledge of maritime operations and cargo handling.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime and weekends when needed.
