Responsibilities- This position drives a truck equipped with water and maintains proper levels on all equipment assigned to the driver. Conducts work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and programs.
- Makes daily pre/post-trip inspections on the assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety and to check for damaged or worn parts or signs of tampering; reports all problems to the shop immediately.
- Drives tanker truck to predetermined destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and local roads.
- Coordinates with paving crews and Spray Bituminous Tack-Coat operations.
- Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
- Communicates any problems with traffic or site conditions promptly; obtains information on job-site location and locations of any light bridges or roads en route to the site.
- Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the Truck Driver's Handbook guidelines.
- Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.
- $23.00 - $25.00, based on experience.

- High school diploma or GED preferred or related work experience
- 1-2 years CDL driving experience with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater
- Tanker endorsement
- In compliance with all DOT physical requirements
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License required
- Hazmat experience preferred but not required
- Skilled in loading and unloading of fuel and oil from the fuel truck at terminals
- Valid Driver’s license required
