Description

The Supervisor of Flight Attendants is responsible for evaluating and documenting job performance, enforcing company policies, and ensuring professional standards are met. They will also serve as the main point of contact for Flight Attendants at their assigned stations.

As a supervisor for Flight Attendants, you will provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to Inflight base employees, coach and counsel them on behavior, performance, and appearance issues, maintain knowledge of the F/A Manual, Work & Conduct Rules, and Collective Bargaining Agreement, attend required leadership annual training, ensure compliance with work rules and regulations, and ensure Flight Attendant recognition and awards programs are in place.

You will conduct i360/Flight Attendant boarding performance assessments, liaison with leaders and employees in assigned Southwest served cities, and qualify and maintain all active requirements of a Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant. You will also be responsible for data entry of personal files and may perform other job duties as directed by employees' leaders.

Southwest Airlines offers competitive market salaries starting from $76,500 to $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional bonus opportunities are available for leadership and individual contributor roles. Free flights for eligible passengers and dependents are available. Employees can receive up to a 9.3% 401(k) match per paycheck, with potential for annual profit-sharing contributions towards retirement. However, pay does not guarantee employment for specific periods and contributions are subject to the plan's vesting schedule and IRS limits.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the U.S., comply with company attendance standards, maintain a well-groomed appearance, have Inflight Crew Qualification (SWA Flight Attendant Certification), meet all regulatory criteria for a CREW badge designation, and have successfully and continuously enrolled in Rap Back.

They must also be able to perform work duties from a limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods, communicate in English, use office productivity tools efficiently, and have broad knowledge in leading teams, interpreting Collective Bargaining Agreements, and airline operations. Successful enrollment in Rap Back is required.
