We are seeking a reliable, hands‑on Class A Yard Jockey with a Class A license who is experienced with maneuvering large trucks across the Baltimore, MD Plant.
Job responsibilities- Moving trailers and equipment throughout the yard using a yard truck
- Position trailers accurately for efficient loading and unloading
- Load and unload trailers in support of warehouse operations
- Perform daily safety inspections on yard trucks and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard
- Communicate with yard and warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations
- Safely operate straight trucks and tractor trailers (26‑53’)
- Heavy lifting required
- Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card
- Minimum 3 years experience operating 26‑foot trucks and trailers up to 53 foot
- Passing our 7‑Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience with pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle evaluations
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Can‑do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Proven longevity in past employment
- Touch freight experience
- Job stability – essential service to healthcare, non‑seasonal and stable business
- Opportunities for overtime
- Consistent work hours – Monday‑Friday position, Graveyard 3rd Shift (5 PM to 5 AM)
- Full‑time roles provide benefits, sick leave and vacation leave from day one
- Permanent position – 40‑50 hours per week
- Competitive salary – $31.00 per hour
- New hire bonus – $3,000 after successfully completing probation
