Shipping Clerk - PL Warehouse

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Inventory Clerk to support daily warehouse operations within a busy 3PL distribution facility. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing shipping and receiving documentation, monitoring work orders, and ensuring timely communication between warehouse personnel, drivers, carriers, and customers. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, experience in warehouse or logistics environments, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced operation handling a variety of materials, including metals, lumber, paper products, and other industrial commodities.

• Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding shipment status, delivery updates, and documentation.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers, and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient movement of freight.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and order status.
• Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies and documentation issues in a timely and professional manner.
