Position
Class A Yard Jockey – Baltimore, MD.
$3,000 new hire bonus after completing probation. Salary: $31.00 per hour (set rate). Direct hire, full-time 40‑50 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities- Moving trailers and equipment throughout the yard using a yard truck.
- Position trailers accurately for efficient loading and unloading.
- Load and unload trailers in support of warehouse operations.
- Perform daily safety inspections on yard trucks and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard.
- Communicate with yard and warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Safely operate straight trucks and tractor trailers (26’–53’).
- Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot trucks and trailers up to 53 foot.
- Passing our 7‑year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Experience with pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle evaluations.
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
- Can‑do attitude with a strong customer focus.
- Proven longevity in past employment.
- Touch freight experience.
- Heavy lifting required.
Monday‑Friday “Graveyard 3rd Shift” – 5 PM to 5 AM. Consistent work hours; opportunities for overtime. Job stability; non‑seasonal.
