CDL B Truck Driver

The CDL Class B Truck Driver is a full-time, on-site position based in Baltimore, MD, supporting HNB Services  Facilities Management and Construction divisions. This role is responsible for safely operating CDL Class B vehicles to transport equipment, materials, tools, landscaping supplies, and other assets between HNB facilities and customer job sites throughout Maryland and surrounding areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, loading and unloading equipment and materials, securing loads in accordance with DOT regulations, and maintaining accurate delivery, mileage, and inspection records.

The driver will support a variety of operations, including landscaping, janitorial, maintenance, snow removal, and government contracts such as MTA, while also assisting construction crews with material deliveries and equipment transport as needed. This position also includes assisting with yard organization, equipment maintenance, and inventory management when not on deliveries. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, flexible, and willing to support multiple divisions as business needs evolve.

• Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.
• Experience safely operating commercial trucks and transporting equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, cargo securement, and safe driving practices.
• Experience supporting facilities management, landscaping, maintenance, construction, or similar field operations is preferred.
• Ability to load, unload, and safely handle equipment, landscaping materials, tools, and other job site supplies.
• Comfortable operating in a variety of environments, including commercial properties, government facilities, construction sites, and public roadways.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate delivery records and inspection reports.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage changing schedules and multiple daily assignments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with field crews, supervisors, and clients.
• Willingness to assist with general yard responsibilities, equipment organization, and operational support when driving duties are complete.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience operating trailers.
