Pay rate:
Hourly rate is $31.00 per hour.

This role is responsible for safely driving a commercial truck on a designated route to deliver product to customers. Assist to unload products at each delivery location; obtain delivery confirmation and complete necessary paperwork. Perform routine vehicle inspections and operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with DOT regulations. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete daily logs.

• Drive a commercial truck with trailer(s) on designated route to deliver products per schedule, in accordance with DOT rules and regulations; regular out-of-town deliveries.
• Maintain DOT driver logs (manual or electronic) and other delivery documentation.
• Assist to unload and verify correct products are delivered; obtain delivery confirmation and customer signatures.
• Inform management of deviations or invoice discrepancies; handle damaged goods and customer returns; attach necessary paperwork.
• Report unsafe unloading conditions to dispatcher/supervisor.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure mechanical and safety integrity; comply with DOT regulations.
• Review driver itinerary and route details; maintain trailer temperature as required.
• Unhook and secure trailers; complete DOT logs and reconcile records with company records as required.
• Provide quality customer service at every delivery location; report issues to dispatcher for resolution.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (required)
• Six months or at least 50,000 miles of all-season commercial driving experience (required)
• DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug test, subject to periodic random testing
• Ability to work up to 60 hours per week including nights and weekends
• Good communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to read maps and route schedules; operate vehicles in various traffic and weather conditions
• Knowledge of federal regulations and DOT guidelines
• Flexible to work shifts including evenings and weekends
• Ability to travel with overnight stays on occasion

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds frequently; push/pull loaded pallets up to 2,700 pounds. Sit for long periods; overnight travel may be required. Work environment includes exposure to weather conditions and noise levels ranging from low to high.
