CDL B Driver

About the Role

As a Class B CDL Driver at United Rentals, your goal is to deliver equipment to our customers in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner. You will serve as a company ambassador through frequent customer interaction and have the opportunity to advance your career within the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
• Operate heavy equipment such as semi‑trucks and trailers (rollbacks or dove tails) in compliance with DOT classification CDL‑B
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre‑trip inspections
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers’ additional needs
• Perform other duties assigned as needed

• Valid Class B CDL with an acceptable driving record
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of DOT‑regulated commercial driving experience
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
• Diligent attention to safety

Compensation Range: $25.95 - $37.35.
