Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Clerk in Baltimore, Maryland. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Pay: $23.00 per hour.
Schedule:
Sunday–Wednesday 7:00 am–5:30 pm.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a warehouse/distribution environment as a clerk, performing transportation coordination, inventory, shipping/receiving, and interaction with carriers, vendors, and customers (strongly preferred)
- Ability to make quick, reliable decisions representing both the customer and Ryder
- Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of WMS systems preferred
- Experience operating forklift equipment preferred
- Equipment certification may be required
- Perform administrative tasks for the area or shift
- Maintain filing systems and documents per standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Interact with customers and contractors, answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up, and damage claims
- Coordinate processing of export orders, fill out export paperwork, generate export labels, and maintain export documentation
- Process returns in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintain paperwork
- Manage pallet inventory: order CHEP and white‑wood pallets for the site, reconcile pallet counts, and research large pallet system variances
- Using the location's WMS system, update area or shift metrics as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned and work overtime as required
