Position Summary:
The Parts and Warehouse Specialist supports the internal Service Department by accurately fulfilling parts requests, processing orders, monitoring backorders, and assisting with parts‑related questions or discrepancies to help ensure timely completion of service work. This position also supports warehouse operations through receiving, stocking, inventory control, order picking, packing, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
- Support the internal Service Department by fulfilling parts requests accurately and efficiently for repair orders, work orders, and technician needs.
- Enter all internal parts orders into the system, including special‑order parts, back‑ordered items, and required shipping or delivery details.
- Monitor and organize back‑ordered parts to ensure timely communication and availability for service jobs.
- Assist with parts‑related questions, order issues, shortages, or discrepancies in a professional and solutions‑focused manner.
- Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming parts and equipment.
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Assist with picking and packing orders for customers and technicians.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse to ensure safety.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory audits as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a warehouse or parts environment, preferably in heavy equipment or automotive, is a plus.
- This position requires sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, climbing, moving, and reaching/working overhead.
- Ability to safely lift 60 lbs.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely.
- This position is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and moderate noise levels. Appropriate PPE gear must be worn as required.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment WorkSTEPS physical.
- Requires passing a pre‑employment background check and drug screen to the satisfaction of McClung‑Logan Equipment Company.
- Must possess a clean MVR & valid Driver's License.
