Our client, a leading distribution center specializing in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $22.15 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Safely load and unload products within the distribution center using proper handling techniques
• Pick, pack, and process customer orders utilizing RF technology and barcode scanning
• Build pallets, including scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders for shipment
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as order pickers, reach trucks, and dock stockers
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality standards are met during shipment preparation

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED required
• Experience with warehouse operations, including picking, pulling, and handling production orders
• Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as order pickers, reach trucks, and dock stockers
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow safety procedures
