Position: High Value Parts Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive High Value Parts Supervisor to oversee the identification, extraction, and logistics of our most critical inventory. This role is a unique blend of administrative precision, team leadership, and hands‑on mechanical ability.

Key Responsibilities & Essential

Job Duties Inventory Planning & Execution
  • Implement daily strategy for pulling high‑value cores and parts.
  • Verify all required parts are pulled according to the daily schedule.
  • Ensure proper organization and secure storage of all high‑value inventory.
Logistics & Documentation
  • Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and manage all shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery dates with freight carriers and vendors.
  • Enter daily production and inventory results into the system accurately.
Safety & Team Supervision
  • Set daily team and individual goals, follow up to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Provide leadership and clear communication to the pulling team to meet daily targets.
  • Monitor and review daily logs, parts pull logs for completion and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Enforce proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Administrative & Hands‑On Tasks
  • Hands‑on role will personally assist in removing parts using hand tools when necessary or to assist the team.
  • Maintain high level of responsiveness to emails and internal messages.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track inventory, trends, and team performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience
  • Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or automotive/parts salvage.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital inventory systems.
Mechanical Skills
  • Proficient with basic hand tools; must be handy with a wrench.
Communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; professional email etiquette.
Leadership
  • Natural team leader with a focus on accountability and organization.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods.
  • May be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment; work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles; may regularly wear PPE; may be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
  • Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
