Loader/Unloader – Medical Waste Treatment Facility

We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our medical waste treatment facility in Baltimore, MD. The role includes checking in containers, verifying paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.
Responsibilities- Lifting bins of up to 55 lbs and pushing a four‑wheeled cart weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Weighing incoming sharps and medical waste containers.
- Loading and operating the autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials).
- Loading the Washsmart system (container washing and sanitization).
- Maintaining accurate paperwork required to process containers.
- Standing for extended periods comfortably.
- Working well with a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or labor‑intensive job with repetitive lifting of 50‑75 lb containers.
- Willingness to undergo a 5‑panel urine drug screening.
- Willingness to undergo a 7‑year background check.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and record weights accurately.
- Familiarity with weighbridge or scale systems.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in personal protective equipment.
- Proven longevity with employers.
- Can‑do attitude.
- Full‑time role of 40 hours per week with consistent Monday‑Friday 2nd shift (3 PM‑11:30 PM).
