Loader/Unloader – Medical Waste Treatment Facility

1811 Portal St, Baltimore, MD 21224.

We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our medical waste treatment facility in Baltimore, MD. The role includes checking in containers, verifying paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

• Lifting bins of up to 55 lbs and pushing a four‑wheeled cart weighing up to 200 lbs.
• Weighing incoming sharps and medical waste containers.
• Loading and operating the autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials).
• Loading the Washsmart system (container washing and sanitization).
• Maintaining accurate paperwork required to process containers.
• Standing for extended periods comfortably.
• Working well with a team.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or labor‑intensive job with repetitive lifting of 50‑75 lb containers.
• Willingness to undergo a 5‑panel urine drug screening.
• Willingness to undergo a 7‑year background check.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and record weights accurately.
• Familiarity with weighbridge or scale systems.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in personal protective equipment.
• Proven longevity with employers.
• Can‑do attitude.

• Full‑time role of 40 hours per week with consistent Monday‑Friday 2nd shift (3 PM‑11:30 PM).
