A manufacturer of professional cleaning and hygiene chemicals is once again partnering with Woodstock Recruitment. One of our closest and trusted clients that we can't speak highly enough about.
You'll be a recent chemistry (or closely related) graduate with an interest in chemical regulations OR you'll be a current chemist who perhaps has a little regulatory knowledge and wants to move from the lab to a full regulatory role.

What you will do:

* To assist in ensuring formulated products are in compliance with all relevant chemical legislation (UK/EU REACH, CLP, BPR, CPR, and global equivalents)
 
* Submission of product notifications – Poison Centre Notifications (PCNs), Irish PCS dossiers, EU Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP), UK Submit Cosmetic Product Notification (SCPN), Country specific product registrations.
 
* Regulatory and technical approval of product labels for professional only and consumer product requirements in countries of sale.
 
* To generate and maintain SDS for formulated products and ‘Own Label’ products for customers in accordance with current chemical legislation (CLP, EU/UK REACH, and etc).
 
* Management of formulated products SDS library on Netsuite and J Drive, ensuring the latest version is available in each location.
 
* Management of Raw Material and Bought-in Products SDS library, including liaison with suppliers, and performing periodical reviews.
 
* Support the lab and production teams with QC batch testing.

What you will need:

* Chemistry degree or closely related subject
 
* Experience of good working practices in a laboratory
 
* Working knowledge of relevant chemicals legislation e.g. REACH, CLP, BPR, CPR.
 
* Ideally SDS authoring experience
