Key Responsibilities
As a Workshop Forklift Engineer, your duties will include:
Servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and material handling equipment
Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Conducting safety inspections and compliance checks
Repairing electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts
Completing breakdown repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
Working on a variety of warehouse and industrial handling equipment
Skills & Experience Required

Essential
Skills:
Strong mechanical and fault-finding abilities
Experience with hydraulics, electrics, and diesel systems
Full UK driving licence
NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or Vehicle Repair beneficial but not a deal breaker if you don't have this
Ideal Candidate

Confident diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
