Teller KC Juanda

Job Purpose

To handle all customer transaction requests, both cash and non-cash, and to be responsible for the cash held in the teller’s cash box.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cash and non-cash transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments.
• Provide solutions to customer needs with a friendly and communicative attitude, while creating a positive customer experience.
• Receive deposits (daily foreign exchange or safekeeping), withdrawals (cash and non-cash), book transfers, clearing, collection, and transfers.
• Verify the authenticity of transaction documents within authority limits or after receiving approval from authorized personnel.
• Carry out cash deposits/withdrawals to other banks and to Bank Indonesia on scheduled days.
• Check, record, and report foreign exchange sales/purchases and inventory.
• Perform signature verification (as checker) on checks/giro slips via clearing or book transfer.
• Prepare internal and external reports related to cash.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of cash handling and payment systems
• Solid understanding of banking products and services, especially digital banking (e.g., savings accounts, time deposits, etc.)
• Strong customer data analysis skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to accurately verify and process transactions and handle cash responsibly
• Excellent communication skills with customers
• Ability to identify the authenticity of cash and check/giro instruments
