About the Role

Are you a filmmaker who loves the logistics of production but also catches the acting bug? We are looking for a hybrid Assistant Director Intern to join the Baby Billion crew.

In this role, you won't just be behind the scenes. We are looking for a "Creator"—someone who can organize a shoot schedule one minute and jump in front of the camera the next. You will shadow our Director and AD, managing the high-volume workflow of a massive You Tube channel, while also serving as on-screen talent when needed. This is the perfect role for an Instagram/You Tube creator who wants professional production experience.

What You’ll Do

- Step into the Spotlight (Acting):
Act as on-screen talent for our videos. Whether it’s a supporting character, a host, or a skit participant, you need to bring high energy and expressiveness to the screen.
- Support Pre-Production:
Assist the production team in building schedules, scouting locations, creating shot lists, and sourcing props to ensure we are shoot-ready.
- Assist on Set:
Be the eyes and ears on the ground. Manage call times, coordinate talent movements, and ensure the crew has what they need to stay on schedule.
- Learn Logistics:
Gain hands-on experience managing the "moving parts" of a shoot. You’ll help anticipate logistical hiccups and learn how to solve problems in real-time.
- Facilitate Communication:
Act as a key link between the crew and the office. Ensure call sheets are distributed and everyone is aligned on the day's goals.

Who You Are

- The "Creator" Type:
You aren't just a filmmaker; you are a personality. You likely have an active Instagram or You Tube presence and are comfortable creating content for yourself.
- Camera Ready:
You have good camera presence, confidence, and can take direction well when acting. You aren't afraid to look silly or energetic for a kids' audience.
- Current Student or Recent Graduate:
You are studying Film, Media, or Communications, or have recently graduated with a passion for video production.
- Eager to Learn:
You have experience with student films or personal projects and are hungry to learn how professional sets operate.

You are charismatic, expressive, and confident in front of a lens.
- Organizational Superpower:
You love lists, schedules, and details. You can keep track of gear and people without losing your cool.
- Proactive Attitude:
You don’t wait to be told what to do—if you see a messy cable or a confused cast member, you jump in to help.
- Calm Under Pressure:
Production can be chaotic. We need someone who stays level-headed when things move fast.

Bonus Points (Preferred Skills)

- Social Media Native:
You have an active Instagram/Reels/Tik Tok profile where you showcase your acting, comedy, or hosting skills.
- Tech Savvy:
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro (for assisting with DIT/logging).
- Kids' Content: A genuine love for You Tube content and an understanding of the energy required for children's entertainment.
