Position
Professional Trainer – Indian Music
Role Summary
Train and mentor, the University Indian Music Team for intercollegiate, national, and university-level cultural competitions and performances.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular vocal and instrumental training sessions.
Train students in Indian Classical, Semi-Classical, Folk, Devotional, and Contemporary music.
Prepare students for solo and group performances.
Select, arrange, and choreograph musical presentations for competitions.
Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of professional teaching/performance experience.
Strong knowledge of Indian vocal music and instrumental accompaniment.
Must have expertise in both Percussion and Non-Percussion instruments.
Percussion: Tabla, Mridangam, Dholak, Pakhawaj, Ghatam, Kanjira, Chenda, Tavil.
Non-Percussion: Harmonium, Sitar, Veena, Sarod, Santoor, Violin, Bansuri, Shehnai, Keyboard.
