Key Responsibilities
To drive the strategic thinking on a set of brands and lead the team of around 10. Work closely with various client servicing and creative teams and lead the discovery of key consumer insights.
To establish the company as the Humankind Agency by building and motivating a strong team.
To be a key part of the team of Leo Burnett Mumbai India and continually help develop quality creative work of international standards that is recognised for its originality and effectiveness.
Become the voice of the consumer within the agency and inspire advertising that speaks to the consumer in the right way at the right time and about the right issues.
Provide checks and balances in the creative development process. Drive planning and creative standards in the agency.
Will need to monitor local and global trends within the categories closely.
Leverage and harness Leo Burnett network wherever necessary. Work on new business pitches and projects, both domestic and global.
Develop the reputation of the agency, both with clients and in the advertising industry in the region.
Identification, recruitment, retention, and development of talent on a continuous basis.
Actively participate in company initiatives which are designed to raise the profile of the company and to build the spirit of the agency and its team.

An accomplished, strategic planning leader with a hands-on approach…
MBA from leading Business School, with overall experience of 17
-22 years, of which at least 5 must be in global advertising networks, with deep exposure to clients in FMCG. Could have a mix of agency and client-side experience. Must have worked in the Mumbai market.
Must have led teams of at least 5 people. Demonstrated record of building and growing large brands or scaling up smaller brands. Strong evidence of new business wins.
Strong revenue and profitability focus, with an ability to track business metrics on a regular basis. Financial analysis, budgeting experience necessary.
Must have a track record of having deep, progressive relationships with client leaders at CMO/CXO level.
Excellent appreciation of the creative product. A desire to always produce outstanding output. Collaborate with creative well.
Result and people always oriented. Strong bias for action. Entrepreneurial working style and a proactive approach.
Not be concerned too much by hierarchy and hence play an involved and hands on role on a regular basis.
Exceptional people leadership management, ironclad integrity. Influencing and collaborative skills.
Must be ambitious for self and the business. Confident, composed, and mature - with a keen desire to win.
Positive personal presence and exceptional verbal, written and presentation capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal, prioritisation and time management skills. Preferably Mumbai based, else able to relocate at short notice.
